About Me
Greetings to All! My Name is Kristina Montgomery. I am Living My Dream as God has Truly Blessed Me with My Soul Mate of a Husband, Mike and (3) Amazing Children, Jessika, Tessa and Ryan!
I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. As a young child, I realized I had a keen sense of intuition. Though I appreciate this gift now; childhood was a very difficult time as I remember struggling with detailed dreams and visions of earthquakes, plane crashes, car accidents, etc. All I could do is share these experiences with my family for fear that if I told other people they might think I was crazy. I felt horrified and helpless as I would later learn that the dreams and visions unfolded exactly as I saw them. As an Adult, I can Honestly Say I Feel God's Presence and Find Peace in My Life as I Choose to Use My Gifts through the Creation of Artwork.
I Truly Believe Art is a Freedom of Expression and that there is an Artist in Everyone! My Goal is to Inspire People to Explore and/or Re-explore their Imaginations and Creativity. Art has always been a Passion of Mine, yet it wasn't until My Father, John H. Peters III became ill with CJD (Creutzfeldt-Jacobs Disease) that I began Creating Artwork again. I found Art to be a Healing and Therapeutic means to Work through My Father's sickness and eventual death which took place on April 6, 2006.
In 2009, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I am so fortunate Fibromyalgia is not a death sentence; yet the pain can be extremely unbearable at times. I find that when I work on art pieces during my extremely painful days; it honestly helps to ease some of the pain :)
My work consists of a wide range of different mixed mediums such as chalk, markers, colored pencils, water colors, oil paints, acrylics, 3-D paints, beads, etc. I am definitely not a stay in the lines kind of artist and I do my best work when I can freely express myself! Each piece I create is a one of a kind. Some of my finished artwork showcases incredible 3-D imagery.
When I am not busy with My Family or Artwork, I do Online Auction Sales (with My Daughter Jessika), and I am a Volunteer for various Organizations within Granite Falls, Washington.
My Current Volunteer Positions Include:
-I am a Granite Falls Wyldlife/Young Life Leader
-I work with the Granite Falls School District - transporting students to and from The Assistance League of Everett's Operation School Bell Program
-I also Volunteer with Healing Hearts in Hope Veterans Retreat Center in Granite Falls donating Art for Special Fundraising Projects, etc. Healing Hearts in Hope Veterans Retreat Center is run by

I've donated various pieces (originals and/or prints) to: Camp Korey at Carnation Farms in Carnation, Washington, as well as Hospices, Patients, Doctor Offices, Hospitals, Hotels, and various other places throughout the United States.
Over the past year, I've received an incredible amount of interest from People wanting to purchase various pieces of my artwork both originals and prints, cards, business cards, letterhead, cd covers, bookmarks, post cards, restaurant menus, etc.
In my efforts to continue donating; I will soon pursue selling some my work to pay for additional supplies, printing costs, advertising, etc.
As a gesture of appreciation to My Community of Granite Falls, Washington, I plan to donate 10% of my proceeds throughout the Granite Falls School District toward various vital School Programs once I begin selling my work. Prices, Services and Availability of My work will be posted on My website soon. Until then, I want to Thank You for Your Interest in My Work and Hope You have a Happy and Healthy 2012!
